Green Grapes in Chardonnay SOLD OUT
Complex hints of lavender, scented geranium, lemon verbena, white pepper, vanilla, basil, honey, bay leaf, apple, bergamot, Earl Gray tea. Delicious with chicken or fish, pasta with cream sauce, in salads. A favorite of Nancy Silverton of La Brea Bakery in Los Angeles.
For main dishes serve on the plate like a pickle or chutney, or in a little bowl on the side with a spoon to enjoy the syrup–which is every bit as good as the fruit!–or deglaze your pan with some syrup and stock to make a sauce. Great with mild soft cheeses, or just spoon a few over good vanilla ice cream! Note: fruit fills the jars when raw but shrinks in processing, adding juice to the syrup.
