Five Grapefruit Marmalade

Long dormant, I have at last been able to bring back this former favorite with a fresh lineup of fruit. The old one depended on rarities from the Gene Lester Collection and a tree in a yard in Napa; when I left California I had to leave that marmalade behind as well. Through connections in LA I’ve been able to find a new lineup of five - Ruby grapefruit, Melo Gold, Oro Blanco, Pommelo, and a cocktail grapefruit that has some orange parentage, and stands in for the elusive Poorman orange. I also added a bit of the last of the rare Shekwasha citrus I’ve kept in storage for just such an occasion. Welcome back!
